about…
I am a (primarily) East Coast based multidisciplinary performing artist. I believe in the power of storytelling as a ritualized portal for collective healing, and as a creative, I find deep joy in making art that transforms systems, befriends shadows, and finds whimsy in the mundane! As an actor and collaborator, I value: curiosity, emergence, and embodied, politically aware presence (take a breath— I mean it!) :)
I enjoy playing roles of any and all genders, and am particularly happy re-imagining roles with my own authenticity —such as “Boq”/ “Ensemble” in Butch Wicked, “Cathy” in a queer production of The Last 5 Years, and “Henrik” in A Little Night Music. I also deeply enjoy taking part in new works. Favorites include: Orpheus in the Overworld at Fresh Ink (“Orpheus”), At the Barre with the Sappho Project W*rk Lab, and maybe…….. your next reading?!
I have a B.A from Oberlin in Dance and Anthropology, am an alumni of the National Music Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, and a member of Ring of Keys.
Recently I’ve been: Rounding out the ensemble of All Shook Up (Reagle Music Theatre), and playing Chester Kallman in February House (Treehouse Collective)
Offstage, I have spent time down many paths including: backcountry camping, marathon running, fire-spinning, slacklining, solo-travel (12 countries and counting!), watercolors, aerial rope & partner acro, qi gong, and Vipassana meditation. I also facilitate somatic-oriented guided practices and offer coaching on holistic, nervous system based healing!
I am actively seeking representation. Start the conversation!
